The Ford Ranger is available 4×2 and 4×4 in the USA but only available in the 4×4 option in Canada. It features 3 different trim levels, borrowing monikers from the larger F150. The trims include the base XL, more feature loaded XLT and loaded Lariat.
What are some notable features of the Ranger Lariat?
The Ranger Lariat features Ford’s Sync3 media screen. That means you’ve got support for Android Auto and Apple Car Play to use things like Apple Maps, Google Maps and Waze!

Sync3 with 8″ Touchscreen
The screen features factory navigation but you’ll also be able to use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through the available USB system. The Lariat features a standard 6 speaker sound system with the option to upgrade to a 10 speaker Bang & Olufsen.
Engine options
In North America the Ranger is only available with a 2.3L EcoBoost engine that’s capable of pushing out 270 horsepower and 310 lb. ft torque
Added Packages
There are a few packages you’ll find in other Ranger trim levels like the Trailer Tow Package and Sport Appearance Package. A few notable ones are the optional Tremor Off-Road and technology package.
