2022 Ford Escape Plugin Hybrid | Learn all about the new Escape Plugin

Available in 3 different trim levels – the SE, SEL and Titanium in Canada and the USA, the new Ford Escape Plugin Hybrid is a great ride. It’s available only front wheel drive but has some great technology including an optional head up display, wireless charging and park assist.

What are some notable features of the Escape?

It’s available with either a regular gas engine or as a regular or plugin hybrid. You’ll find the standard hybrid in either front wheel or all wheel drive, while the plugin version is only available front wheel drive.

Sync3 with 8″ Touchscreen

The screen has the option for factory navigation but you’ll also be able to use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay through the available USB system. There also is the option for a head up display when you look at the Titanium Elite Package.

Engine options

The Escape hybrid is available as either a standard hybrid or plugin hybrid. They both feature the same 2.5L Atkinson hybrid engine but the plugin gives you better electric range and slightly more combined horsepower!

You’ll find all kind of options for the Escape lineup. A popular option is the Ford Co-Pilot 360 Assist+ Package which gives you adaptive cruise control and factory navigation.
