2021 Lincoln Corsair | Learn all about the new Corsair!
In 2020 Lincoln re-branded the MKC, calling it the Corsair. It brought the vehicle in line with the design of the new 2020 Aviator and was a sign of the future of what Lincoln was planning for the design of their SUV lineup.
What are features of the Corsair?
The vehicle features Lincoln’s Sync3 media system which brings Android Auto and Apple Car Play support. With standard factory navigation and safety features including a blind spot system, lane keeping and reverse sensing there’s a lot to love!
The driver passenger seat in the first row will at least be heated, while the optional Elements Package brings ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel plus heated outboard 2nd row seats.
There’s the option of giving the vehicle a heads up display with the optional technology package. Adding that package to your vehicle will also give you a wireless charging pad which is a nice tough.
Sync3 with 8″ Touchscreen
The Sync3 media screen gives you a multimedia screen that supports Android Auto and Apple Car Play. It features integrated Voice Activated Navigation and a host of driver assistance settings! You’ll have the flexibility to charge your phone and make calls all while using popular apps such as Waze or rock out to the LiveXLive or Pandora radio apps directly through the media screen.
Engine options
The 2021 Corsair features 3 different engine options including a 2.0L Turbo, 2.3L Turbo or optional 2.5L Hybrid. While the 2.3L does have an impressive amount of horsepower and torque I found that the 2.0L is plenty powerful in a vehicle this size. With either 250 or 280 horsepower, there’s plenty of power available depending on what you prefer.
3 Different Trim Levels
Available as a base, reserve or grand touring model, each trim level of the Corsair offer a great range of features. The Reserve trim level is the sweet spot, offering a great number of features including a panoramic sunroof, heated/ventilated front seats, heated 2nd row seats, foot activated power liftgate and more!
