The 2021 Ford Explorer is the 2nd generation of the re-designed Explorer lineup that was originally redone for the 202 model year. It features either a 6 or 7 seat configuration, depending on what option you go with for the 2nd row.
The vehicle is spacious, with the ability to fold down the 2nd and 3rd row seats independently! In the XLT trim level the seats are folded down manually, with the Limited trim level and higher offering a power folding 3rd row!

A Power Liftgate
The Explorer XLT has a Power Liftgate that you can open simply by using the key fob. Higher trim levels like the ST and Platinum also include foot activated functionality and the liftgate on all trim levels has fixed glass.
